Because of the high moistness of the air (between 45% and 65%) and the presence of eteric oils, the Turkish sauna is beneficial to our respiratory passages. Air temperature moves between 45 and 60 degrees Celsius. Heat enhances blood circulation, which influences the relaxation of tension from muscles, strengthens the immune system and promotes the natural cleansing of skin.
The heated air of the Finnish sauna (80 – 100 degrees Celsius) causes pronounced perspiration, which in combination with dry air works beneficently and cleanses the body of harmful toxins. It is intended to strengthen the immune system and relieve stress as well as problems with muscles and joints.
In the infrared sauna, the heat penetrates the body deeper and more effectively due to infrared radiation, in spite of the lower temperature (50 – 60 degrees Celsius). This makes an infrared sauna appropriate also for aging persons and persons with weaker health. It helps relieve pain, treat colds and influenza as well as weight loss
